Amy LaDeroute is a joy cell in the body of life.
Amy always wanted to be a singer and entertainer. At five years old, her mother would catch her using a drapery cord as a microphone, or find her outside singing in a mailbox for the reverb effect.
At 17, she decided to leave her comfortable mid-western family and auditioned for a funk band out of Dayton, Ohio. She landed a job as lead vocalist and hit the road playing for 14 years throughout Canada and the US.
Since her time on the road, she’s owned and operated TCBY franchises, toured and performed at special events and functions, and acted and co-wrote various comedic sketches.
As soon as you meet her, you’ll realize that she is dynamic, bold, and fun to be with. She exudes warmth, compassion and a joy for living.
Amy’s mission in life is to use her entertaining and joyful presence to inspire and motivate others to have fun and become more light-hearted.
She resides in Asheville, NC where she performs, writes comedic sketches, acts, teaches a funk fit dance class, records, does voice overs, and practices yoga and meditation.
