About

Amy LaDeroute is a joy cell in the body of life.

Amy always knew she was a singer. At five years old, her mother would catch her using a drapery cord as a microphone, or find her outside singing in a mailbox for the reverb effect.

At 17, Amy decided to leave her comfortable mid-western family and auditioned for a funk band out of Dayton, Ohio. She landed the job as lead vocalist and hit the road playing continually for 14 years throughout Canada and the US.

Amy has worn many hats over the years always looking for something new and exciting to do. Amy has owned and operated a TCBY franchise, worked for a vet, sold clothing, worked for an Internist and now realizes that her true calling is it to motivate and inspire others to find joy and meaning in their life.

Amy lives life by her heart. She loves dogs, singing, comedic acting, plants, cooking and people. She exudes warmth, and a joy for living. She is the soul and voice of affirmation music, and through it, reveals her devotion to humanity. When you meet her, you will realize that this music is who she is.

Amy resides in Asheville, NC where she performs, writes comedic sketches, acts, teaches a funk fit dance class, records, does voice overs, and practices meditation. She has been happily married for 26 years to Ken who is a Lifestyle Design Coach, guitarist, song writer, meditation teacher and business man.
