Inexpensive Valentines Day Ideas

Since Valentines Day is right around the corner, I thought I’d provide you with some fun things that you can do for your mate, just in case you don’t have any ideas of your own. If you do have some great ideas, please share them with us!

1. Take the roll of toilet paper and write love notes on each and every square  with a red marker. Roll it back up (which is a bit of a hassle) and your hubby or wife will have sweet things to read every day while sitting on the toilet. How romantic.

2. Make a batch of pancakes, cut them into heart shapes, decorate them with strawberries and whipped cream for a luscious breakfast.

3. Write a song-no matter how bad it is. When you first wake up, stand on the bed looking down over your honey and wake  them up with a beautiful rendition of “Oh baby I love you, you make a me crazy!” Or, a serious love song if you can manage it.

4. Send your lover on a scavenger hunt for chocolates or gifts and have clues at each location.

5. Put love notes on the mirrors, windshield of his or her car, in the brief case, in shoes etc.

6. Be his or her servant for the day.

7. Turn down the sheets, put some nice music on, have a special dessert and champagne nearby and give your partner a massage.

8. Give him or her a bouquet of red clear balloons and have messages inside each one.

9. Make a coupon booklet of special things that your lover can redeem: massage, favorite dinner, a walk, a romantic evening.

10. Blind fold your mate, put him or her in the car and take them on a special surprise date.

11. Give your sweety a manicure and a head massage.

12. Get a poster board and write  a long love letter.

13. Have a lovely meditation together  with incense and candles.

14. Book time at the spa together.

15. Try something new together. Skydiving, take a hot air balloon ride, horse back riding.

16. Take a hike and bring a hot thermos of soup (if it’s cold out) some olives, cheese and crackers and of course some chocolate.

17. Rescue a dog or cat from the Humane Society and name it “Cupid” (I’m fond of this one. Save an animal)

18. Get a bunch of photos of the two of you and make a montage together.

19. Make a donation to a cause of your choice in honor of the love you have together.

21. Have a glass of wine and read poetry together.

22. Sing loudly underneath your partners window to wake them up in the morning.

23. Go to a fortune teller together and have your fortunes read.

24. Take a certain amount of money to blow and go shopping for something special together.

25. Bring joy in some way  to and elderly person, neighbor, friend or someone you don’t know.

26. If you are single with no Valentine, get your friends without mates together and have a party, go bowling, hike or plan some kind of outing. There’s no need to sit home and feel bad.

27. Make every day a Valentines Day and you won’t have to worry about Valentines Day.

Experience Joy And Pass It On!
